Quran is a stupid book, don't waste your time reading that ****. Instead read God Delusion by Dr. Richard Dawkins

I want to read the entire Koran so that I can reference it in debates. Can anyone recommend a highly respected and commonly-used translation into English?

Check out this website. I contains three standard translations side by side:

Reading the quran itself is very boring and repetitive. The book has no apparent structure, so you will find subjects scattered all over the place. So, I would actually recommend reading a book about the quran and the quran side by side.

Robert spencer has a blog about each chapter of the quran, which I highly recommend:

Any quran commentary inevitably makes reference to the hadith . This is where you can find and read them:

If the Quran is from God, why is it so badly written?
